1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on a visitor's device when they access a website. They are retrieved on subsequent visits, allowing the website to recognise the device and recall certain information — such as language preferences, consent choices, or session state.

4. Third-Party Cookies

When certain page resources are loaded from third-party content distribution networks, those third parties may set their own cookies or record server log data. Lorfan does not control the cookie behaviour of third-party services. The services that may set cookies as a result of visiting lorfan.info are:

— Google Fonts: Typography resources are loaded from fonts.googleapis.com. Google may log the request. No persistent cookie is set. Google's privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.
— Google Maps: An embedded map on the contact page is loaded from maps.google.com. Interacting with the map may cause Google to set cookies related to map interaction. These are governed by Google's privacy terms.
— jsDelivr / Cloudflare CDN / unpkg: Script and stylesheet assets are loaded from these CDN providers. These services log the requesting IP address for performance and abuse-prevention purposes. No persistent behavioural cookies are set by these services on standard visits.

Lorfan does not use any advertising network, social media tracking pixel, or behavioural remarketing cookie on this website.

5. Managing Your Preferences

Cookie preferences can be updated at any time by clicking the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer of any page on this site, or by clicking the button below. The preference interface allows acceptance of all cookies, partial acceptance (functional and analytics only), or functional-only acceptance.

Preferences are stored in the lf_consent cookie. Clearing your browser's cookies will reset your stated preference and the cookie banner will reappear on your next visit.

6. Opt-Out via Browser Settings

All major web browsers provide settings to control or block cookies at the browser level. Disabling cookies at browser level will affect the function of many websites, not only lorfan.info. Functional cookies that maintain the consent record will be removed if browser-level cookie deletion is applied.
